Mr. Koutoulas is also a leader in investor protection. He Co-Founded the Commodity Customer Coalition, a non-profit customer advocacy organization, in response to the MF Global bankruptcy. Mr. Koutoulas is the President and lead attorney for the CCC and represented over 10,000 MF Global customers pro bono in the bankruptcy and helped force the full return of $6.7B in customer assets. He then served on the Board of Directors of the National Futures Association for three years.

Mr. Koutoulas has appeared on CNBC, Bloomberg, and CNN, as well as being featured in major national print publications such as the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Fortune, Forbes, and Reuters. Mr. Koutoulas testified on improving customer protections before the United States House of Representatives’ Agriculture Committee.

Mr. Koutoulas earned a J.D. from The Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, which gave him its 2016 Emerging Leader Award. He is a member of the Illinois Bar, holds a Series 3, and is registered with U.K. FCA as a CF1 and CF30. He serves as a consulting expert to the Northwestern Investor Protection Clinic and is a member of its Advisory Board. Mr. Koutoulas has a degree in Finance from the University of Florida, where he was a National Merit Scholar, AP National Scholar, and Angelo Langadas Classics Scholar.

Bartholomew Hamilton Chilton (May 1, 1960 — April 27, 2019) was an American civil servant.

He was Commissioner at the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) from 2007 to 2014. In April 2014, he joined DLA Piper as a Senior Policy Advisor. He was the author of the investment fraud book, Ponzimonium: How Scam Artists Are Ripping Off America. Chilton was a vocal supporter of position limits in commodities markets. He exposed manipulation practices in commodities markets and went on record as wanting to prosecute violations of law, which he believed had taken place in the silver market.
